Victoria Marcoccia
Community Engagement Coordinator for Hamilton
Victoria is an environmental professional passionate about sustainability and community engagement. Currently, she is a Master of Environmental Applied Science and Management candidate at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Victoria has conducted research on freshwater quality, specifically analyzing the effects of electromagnetic fields on treated water. At the TMU’s Urban Water Research Center, she led initiatives that increased public involvement in environmental conservation efforts. Victoria is excited to contribute to the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup and build community awareness about plastic pollution.
