This April, our team attended the 2025 WEAO Technical Symposium and OPCEA Exhibition in London, Ontario, hosted by the Water Environment Association of Ontario. This annual event brings together leading experts and professionals in the water sector for insightful sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities focused on the latest advancements in water management, technology, and solutions.
As part of the Data-Driven Water Management session, our Chief Executive Officer, Melissa DeYoung, presented about a decision-support tool we are developing in partnership with the Council of the Great Lakes Region, technical partner, GHD Digital, and with support from RBC Tech for Nature. This data-driven, online platform, called DeX-Terity, is designed to empower communities and decision-makers to better understand and protect watersheds. Using advanced machine learning algorithms, the tool allows users to predict future water quality trends, explore how development and climate variability may impact watershed health, and identify actions that can reduce risks and enhance resilience. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting initiative!
