Pollution Probe Welcomes New Addition to our Transportation Team
Pollution Probe is pleased to introduce the newest addition to our transportation team, Jessie Gai.
Jessie joins the team from the University of Toronto, where she is working towards a Master of Applied Science in Environmental and Transportation Engineering. Jessie’s focus is on modeling air quality, climate, health and financial benefits related to electric vehicle deployment in major cities.
Jessie will be integral to helping Pollution Probe in our work on developing low-carbon transportation solutions. The transportation emissions research that she and her colleagues at UofT are undertaking is closely aligned with Pollution Probe’s focus.
Interest in low-carbon mobility options such as electric vehicles is growing at an unprecedented rate.
Stakeholder groups who may not have traditionally been engaged on transportation issues are now looking for guidance and expertise as they explore the roles that they could play in supporting low-carbon transportation. Organizations like Pollution Probe have a vital role to play in ensuring that the right information finds its way to the right people, in order to ensure the implementation of the most effective practices possible at all levels.
