Shahreen joins the team as a Research & Project Coordinator. A PhD student at York University Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change (EUC), Shahreen’s research interests lie in the areas of urban planning, land-use planning, and Indigenous jurisdiction. Her main research interest centers on Indigenous populations’ differential access to space in Canada and the factors behind it. She is currently exploring opportunities to use her research and analytical skills to contribute professionally and academically in the areas of Canadian and Environmental policy.
