Research and Project Assistant
Navjot Dhaliwal has over four years of environment and sustainable development experience. He currently holds a Master of Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo, along with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biological Sciences, from the University of Calgary. He has served as a sustainability advisor both locally and internationally. Most recently, he contributed to the development of a mobile app designed to improve public recycling behaviour, with a mandate to reduce recycling stream contamination. Before that, he was the Environmental Sustainability Advisor for UNTAG University, Surabaya, Indonesia. His efforts culminated in the implementation of the organization’s Sustainability Plan.
Having completed his master’s dissertation, “Modeling Intersectoral Collaboration for Effective Public Policy Development”, he is looking to improve his abilities and contribute to future policy development. An avid collaborator, he enjoys the pursuit for effective stakeholder engagement to appropriately gather data required to design holistic policy solutions.
