 Blair Feltmate, Ph.D. — Chair
Dr. Blair Feltmate is an associate professor in the Faculty of Environment and director of Sustainability Practice at the University of Waterloo's School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED). Dr. Feltmate has held the positions of chair, Climate Change Adaptation Project, Canada; co-chair, Extreme Weather Task Force, City of Toronto; senior advisor, Sustainable Electricity Program, Canadian Electricity Association; board member, Duke of Edinburgh Awards; member, Ontario Securities Commission's Environmental Reporting Advisory Committee; and board member, Sustainable Hamilton. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo, Dr. Feltmate was the director of Sustainable Development at Ontario Power Generation and the vice-president of Sustainable Development at the Bank of Montreal. Earlier in his career, Dr. Feltmate spent 12 years developing sustainable development programs for two dozen multinational companies and industry associations.

 Dan Gagnier — Member
Dan Gagnier is the chairman of the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), a Canadian-based, public policy research institute that has a long history of conducting cutting-edge research into sustainable development. Mr. Gagnier was chief of staff for Quebec Premier Jean Charest from 2007 to 2009 and formerly the senior vice-president of Corporate and External Affairs at Alcan. Prior to this, Mr. Gagnier held a number of senior positions in government, including deputy minister of energy, deputy minister of intergovernmental affairs and chief of staff for the Premier's Office for the Government of Ontario, as well as deputy secretary to Cabinet and advisor to the Privy Council Office for the Government of Canada. Mr. Gagnier is also a member of the Board of Governors of McGill University and a member of the boards of directors of both the Asia‐Pacific Foundation and Sustainable Development Technology Canada.

 Christopher Hilkene — Vice-chair
Christopher Hilkene is the president of the Clean Water Foundation, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to engaging individuals in actions that preserve, protect and improve our water. He also teaches water policy at York University's Faculty of Environmental Studies. Previously, Mr. Hilkene was a policy advisor to the federal Minister of the Environment and a communications advisor in the Ontario Ministry of the Environment. He has served on the boards of directors of a number of organizations, including the George and Helen Vari Foundation, the Riversides Foundation, the Niagara River Restoration Council and the City of Toronto's Task Force to Bring Back the Don.

 Jennifer Hooper — Member
Jennifer Hooper is global director for Health and Safety at Vale, a Brazil-based global mining company that is a leading producer of iron ore and nickel and a major producer of fertilizers, copper, coal, manganese and aluminum. Previously, Ms. Hooper held executive positions in sustainability and human resources in Vale's base metals business, and has held senior positions in Ontario's Ministry of the Environment and Ministry of Labour. Her private sector experience includes working as global director of Climate Change and global director of Safety, Health and Environment for the agriculture and nutrition business of E.I. DuPont Company of Canada. Ms. Hooper is a fellow of LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development) Canada.

 Fiona Jones — Member
Fiona Jones is the director of Energy and Climate Change Policy at Suncor Energy. In addition to representing Suncor's interests at both the provincial and national levels, her group is responsible for setting Suncor's strategy for managing the risks and complying with greenhouse gas regulations. Prior to joining Suncor, Ms. Jones was director of Ethics and Compliance and director of Corporate Responsibility at Petro-Canada. She also managed Petro-Canada's Market Risk and Derivatives group.

 Pierre Millette — Member
Pierre Millette retired from Toyota Canada Inc. in 2009, where he had been its general counsel and later national manager, External Affairs. He was also a director for the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) for 12 years and served on numerous auto industry committees from 1990 to 2009. Prior to joining Toyota, Mr. Millette was general counsel for the F.W. Woolworth Co. Limited of Canada.

 Sean Morley — Member
Sean Morley is a partner in the business law section of the law firm of Fasken Martineau and a member of the firm's strategic counsel practice group. He was formerly an executive assistant and senior advisor to the president and chief executive officer of the Ontario SuperBuild Corporation. Mr. Morley has also held a variety of senior policy positions in the Ontario government, including senior policy advisor to the Minister of Education and Training, and senior policy advisor to the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.

 Sandra Odendahl — Member
Sandra Odendahl is the director of Corporate Environmental Affairs at RBC, where she leads a team responsible for global strategy and leadership in the areas of environmental credit risk management, environmental products and services, and corporate environmental programs. Prior to this, Ms. Odendahl was the director of CIBC's Corporate Environmental Program and the head of RBC's Environmental Risk Management department. Before entering the banking sector, Ms. Odendahl was an environmental consultant, specializing in environmental impact assessments. She is also co-chair of the North American Task Force of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEPFI), formerly the co-chair of the Conference Board of Canada's Business Council on Sustainability, on the advisory board of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto and on the board of directors of the Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy.

 Robert J. D. Page, Ph.D. — Member
Robert (Bob) Page is a professor in the University of Calgary's Energy and Environmental Systems Group and a former dean of its Faculty of Environment Design. Dr. Page was chair of both the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy and the management committee of the Geneva-based International Standards Organization 14000 series of international environmental standards. Previously, Dr. Page was the vice-president of Sustainable Development at TransAlta Corporation. Dr. Page was recently appointed a fellow and governor of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. He is a member of the board of directors for ENMAX Corp. and for the Banff-Calgary chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.

 John Roberts — Member
John Roberts is the vice-president, Environment, at Aurora Energy Ltd., a uranium exploration and development company active in the Central Mineral Belt of coastal Labrador. He was previously the vice-president, Environment, at Aurora Energy Resources Inc., Nexfor Inc. and Noranda Aluminum (formerly Noranda Forest Inc.). Born and raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Mr. Roberts was also the director of Environment and Energy Research at the Conference Board of Canada.

 Mel Ydreos — Member
Mel Ydreos is the vice-president of Marketing and Customer Care at Union Gas Limited. Mr. Ydreos is responsible for the company's marketing activities with its residential, commercial and industrial markets and its Demand Side Management programs. He has also been the vice-president of Operations and the vice-president of Engineering and Gas Supply Operations. Mr. Ydreos has been active in the natural gas industry through his participation with the International Gas Union, and currently serves as chair of the Special Task Force on Geopolitics and Natural Gas for the 2009-2012 Malaysian Triennium. He has served on the board of directors of the Canadian Standards Association International and the Canadian Standards Association Group, and is the former chair of the Canadian Gas Association's Eastern Workshop. Mr. Ydreos is also the founding chair of Energy Technology and Innovation Canada, a member of the advisory board of the University of Waterloo's Sustainability Institute, a member of the advisory board of the International Bio-fuels Institute at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

 Edyta McKay Zdancewicz — Member
Edyta McKay Zdancewicz is a senior publicist at Kim Graham and Associates, specializing in public relations for building and design-related industries, including architecture, green building, interior design, residential and commercial real estate, urban planning and consumer products. Prior to this, Ms. McKay Zdancewicz was the manager of public relations in Canada for Direct Energy, a public relations advisor for the Canadian Automobile Association in South Central Ontario, and a broadcast journalist for various Toronto newstalk organizations, including CFTR 680 News and AM640.

Chief Executive Officer at Pollution Probe
Under Bob's leadership, Pollution Probe has undergone both an organizational and operational transformation, positioning it at the leading edge of a rapidly evolving economic, social and environmental policy landscape. Bob has been instrumental in expanding and solidifying Pollution Probe's leadership expertise in the related fields of transportation and energy. Considered one of Canada's leading experts on vehicle fuel efficiency, Bob acts as an independent source of transportation policy advice for industry and federal and provincial governments. Bob is spearheading Pollution Probe's work on energy systems literacy, beginning with the development of the seminal Primer on Energy Systems in Canada. Based on the findings and recommendations of Pollution Probe's recent cross-Canada consultation on energy literacy, Bob and his team are currently developing effective strategies to help increase energy literacy in Canada. Before joining Pollution Probe as a project manager and then establishing and becoming the director of its new Transportation Programme, Bob was an energy efficiency analyst at Marbek Resource Consultants and an engineer at Cintas Canada Limited, where he managed industrial-scale projects and developed and implemented energy efficiency strategies. Bob is a professional engineer and has a bachelor of mechanical engineering from Carleton University.

 Husam Mansour P. Eng. — Secretary
Chief Operating Officer at Pollution Probe
Husam holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of London U.K. and brings more than 30 years of experience in creating and implementing innovative business development strategies, project management, standards development and implementation with particular expertise in the Environment and Quality sectors. Prior to joining Pollution Probe, Husam completed a two year assignment as Project Director responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a $105M project at MASDAR Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). MIST is the 1st project to be completed in MASDAR City (UAE) which is the first carbon-neutral, zero waste City in the world. Previous to that, Husam spent 18 years at Canadian Standards Association (CSA) with his last assignment as Project Director, Business Management and Life science. During his tenure at CSA, Husam led a team that successfully managed the International Organization for Standards Technical Committee on Environmental Management (ISO/TC 207). The team was responsible for developing and managing the publication of the ISO Standards 16064 for Quantification and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals, and ISO 14000 (EMS).

Finance Manager at Pollution Probe
Diana holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo and has had over 30 years of experience in finance with the not-for profit sector, for profit organizations, and in government positions in Canada and in the U.K. She is a Certified Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Corporate Secretaries.
