JD Irving – Green Power Certificates JD Irving has a 15 MW small hydropower plant in New Brunswick
and had green certificates from this plant GreenLeaf certified in
May 2004. The company does not offer these certificates on its website
but markets them directly to the U.S. and Canadian governments and
other large users. Pricing is not determined, but the company aims
at reaching a premium of about $30 per MWh.
