• H2infO - The Water Information Network - H2infO aims to improve municipal water quality, quantity and flow by fostering and supporting community-based programs and increasing civic participation in national, provincial and local efforts to control municipal non-point sources of water pollution.
• The National Water Research Institute (NWRI) is Canada's leading institution conducting research on Freshwater and their research is important to the conservation and protection of Canada's water resources. The Institute has released a scientific assessment report entitled "Threats to Water Availability in Canada" that identifies the pressures to Canada 's freshwater sources. It highlights the need for action on a number of fronts to ensure Canadians' future access to adequate supplies of clean, safe and secure freshwater. This document is a follow-up to "Threats to Sources of Drinking Water and Aquatic Ecosystem Health in Canada", released in 2002.
• Ontario Clean Water Agency - OCWA is a provincial Crown corporation in business to provide environmentally responsible and cost-efficient water and waste water services.
• Pollution Watch - is a free service that merges information from approximately 300 databases to create instant rankings based on pollution loads and health hazards for almost 2000 polluting facilities across Canada.
• United States Environmental Protection Agency - comprehensive Water Quality sections covers various water issues including drinking water, ground water, water pollutants, pollution control and monitoring and wastewater among others.
• The Walkerton Inquiry - Pollution Probe presented its final submission to Part 1a and 1b of the Walkerton Inquiry. • The 3rd World Water Forum, created by the World Water Council was held from March 16-23, 2003 in Kyoto, Japan. The key report of the Forum, called “World Water Actions: Making Water Flow for all” is now available.
