The Workshop on Low-Carbon Fuel
Low Carbon Fuel
Standards (LCFS) - based regulatory frameworks have been
developed by several sub-national jurisdictions across North
America, including British Columbia (BC). However,
substantive issues have been raised by stakeholders about
the impact and effectiveness of the policy in BC. |
When and
Where? |
As such, Pollution Probe believes the time is right to convene stakeholders and experts to discuss the future of the LCFS. The Workshop on LCFS will provide a neutral forum for the exchange of knowledge and perspectives among key stakeholders on LCFS - based regulations. |

The two-day workshop will evaluate the development of LCFS to date, take stock of the current experiences with LCFS and drive toward specific recommendations for the future of LCFS in BC. The workshop proceedings will also inform considerations in other jurisdictions in Canada and the U.S. Who's Invited? LCFS affects a range of organizations, directly and indirectly, throughout the transportation energy value chain, including policy makers and regulators in government, fuel and energy products suppliers, energy producers, vehicle powertrain manufacturers, experts in energy and emissions life-cycle analysis, academia and environmental non-government organizations. Additional workshop details are forthcoming. For more information, please contact Natalia Moudrak at nmoudrak@pollutionprobe.org, or 416.926.1907 ext. 248.
