Energy Exchange Announces Steven Pacifico Appointment

TORONTO, May 22, 2015 – Energy Exchange, a division of Pollution Probe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Pacifico to the newly created position of Program Director.

In his previous role as Director, Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement at the Delphi Group, a consulting company, Steven was instrumental in assisting Pollution Probe with several initiatives including development of the Business Case for Energy Exchange and, most recently, the Workshop series geared towards public and private sectors.

Steven joins Energy Exchange with more than 15 years’ experience in the environmental sector with business, government, and NGOs. Steven has helped organizations develop their sustainability engagement visions and strategies, identify key risks and priorities, and create business cases.

In his most recent role at The Delphi Group, Steven successfully managed over 200 projects for a wide range of clients in the Energy, Transportation, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, and Financial sectors. Steven developed the ground breaking Sustainability Pulse Tool which provides employers a tool to engage their employees in becoming stewards of sustainability.

Pollution Probe also announces the resignation of Ellen Pekilis as Executive Director of Energy Exchange. During her time at Energy Exchange, Ellen initiated the implementation of the division’s business case and provided leadership to support the division’s mission to measurably increase energy literacy levels among Canadians.

A successor to Ms. Pekilis will be named at a later date.
